No, it's not a mirage. The crystal-clear enclave of water is a little oasis tucked under the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. These forest pools are believed to have magical healing properties, and so foreigners from far and wide love to visit this location in order to cast their burdens away.
The Village Walk
Take an easy walk around our lodge to experience how the local people enjoy their life, how our neighbours conduct their day to day activities. The 4km walk will end at our other Lodge, Malkia Trees, where you relax with an ice cold beverage to cool you down.
Coffee Tasting & Arusha Market Tour
Tengeru's coffee plantations offers an array of our famous East African Coffee Beans. At the end of the tour you can sip a delicious cup of coffee that has been harvested by our community on the volcanic foothills of Mount Meru where vast farms are maintained. After that, a visit to our local vibrant Arusha Market is a must for anyone looking to pick up unique souvenirs!
